Bald Mountain." Humperdinck's "Witches Waltz,"
"Chillers and Thrillers" by John Williams and more!
Percussionist Joe Lizama will be featured
soloist playing timpani, xylophone and drum set.

"Super Concert II - A Birthday Bash"
Happy
15th anniversary to us! On this day 15 years ago, we played
our first concert. Reminisce with us as we reprise several
selections from that program. For added fun, the band will
play "Highlights from Showboat," by Jerom Kern,
"Movie Blockbusters" and our traditional Sousa march!
We'll also showcase the two teams in the Super Bowl!

"Mostly Sousa"
You asked
for it! By popular demand, we dedicate an entire concert to
John Philip Sousa. We'll play some of his lesser-known works
- "In the Land of the Golden Fleece," Gliding Girl
Tango" and "Easter Monday on the White House Lawn,"
plus several of his marches and some music from other composers
often played by Sousa's band. Featured soloist will be trombonist
Eric Sherbon.

"A Time to Remember" Memorial
Day -- a time to remember all those who have died serving
our country. The band honors our armed forces by playing "A
Tribute to Fighting Men" by Fresno composer, the late
Russell Howland, "Chimes of Liberty" by Goldman,
"A Prayer for Peace" by John Williams and other
familiar patriotic melodies. Well-known vocalist Bob
Bergthold will join us for the very first time performing
a wide variety of vocal selections.
